Quality Control
Current limiting description
This controller adopts an output current limiting method, effectively preventing abnormal operation caused by excessive current during startup or when the load increases. When in actual use, please set the output current limit according to the motor parameters. Note: This function is an optional feature. By default, all products have a fixed maximum current value.
Indication of speed regulation mode
1. Internal speed regulation
When using internal speed regulation, switch the dip switch SW1 to the ON position, rotate the internal speed regulation potentiometer clockwise from low to the highest, and the motor speed will increase from 0 to 100%.
2. External speed regulation
When using external speed regulation, switch the dip switch SW1 to the OFF state.
2.1 For speed regulation with an external 10K potentiometer, it is necessary to connect the potentiometer to the V+, Ve, or V- interfaces of the driver. Adjust the motor speed by rotating the potentiometer (connect Ve to the middle pin of the potentiometer).
2.2 External analog voltage speed regulation is connected. V- (COM) is the reference ground, and Ve is connected to a 0-5V voltage signal. Among them, the motor speed changes when it is 1-4.6V. The wiring diagram and the voltage-speed correspondence diagram are as follows:

2.3 External PWM signal speed regulation, V- is the reference ground, Ve is connected to the PWM signal, the PWM voltage amplitude is 5V, the frequency is 1-10KHz, the wiring diagram and duty cycle - output corresponding diagram are as follows:

Attention! The internal and external switching dip SW1 only works on the speed control signal. Whether the motor speed is controlled by an internal potentiometer or an external speed control signal, the side direction of the control signal and the enable signal are all under control. The maximum working voltage of the Ve speed regulation signal is 24V, and the maximum speed regulation range is 5V. This is mainly to adapt to the fact that PLC users do not need to connect current-limiting resistors.
Enable control
When the enable signal input is at a high level (in the EN hovering state).
SW2 ON, driver standby, motor stops rotating;
When SW2 is OFF, the driver works and the motor resumes rotation.
When the enable signal input is at a low level, (EN and V- short-circuited).
SW2 ON, the driver works and the motor resumes rotation;
When SW2 is OFF, the driver is in standby mode and the motor stops rotating.

Direction control
When DR Input is at a high level (DR In the suspended state), the motor rotates in the forward direction:
When DR Input is at a low level (DR And V- short-circuited), the motor rotates in reverse.
When DR Switches states, the driver will automatically perform energy consumption braking for 0.5 seconds.

Note: The DR State can only be changed when the motor is running at a low speed or at a stop; otherwise, the controller and motor may be damaged.
Application Cases
This DC brushless motor kit is specially designed for high-power and high-reliability application scenarios such as industrial automation, electric vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
