In practical applications, the T9-W locates fault points in equipment and facilities, provides timely warnings, and guides maintenance personnel to the site for repairs. It is also equipped with a two-way voice interaction system, enabling remote expert support and re-inspection capabilities.

With its four-wheel differential steering drive and independent suspension, the T9-W offers omnidirectional movement capabilities, including turning on the spot and diagonal/lateral movement, while maintaining high passability on complex terrain. Equipped with a combination of LiDAR, depth camera, and ultrasonic sensors, it ensures precise location of inspection points.
The T9 series products are all equipped with a multi-window structure gimbal, and come standard with a 2560P high-definition visible light camera and an infrared thermal imager. They also support optional and customized methane laser telemetry instruments, acoustic cameras, and cooled/uncooled gas cloud sensors. These features enable the identification and detection of common "leakage" phenomena in the oil, gas, and chemical industries, improving the accuracy of inert/volatile gas leak detection.
