The ISTRA24 high-performance ultra-compact altitude-holding radar features a PCBA size of only 45*45mm and weighs 6.5g, making it easily integrable into the drone's body and arms. With its innovative antenna design and highly efficient signal processing algorithms, along with real-time signal processing methods based on time-domain, frequency-domain, and phase synthesis for high sensitivity, it significantly reduces the physical dimensions of the radar module. This enables seamless integration into the drone's structural framework, opening up new possibilities for the drone industry. The millimeter-wave altitude-holding radar delivers precise height measurements within the 0.2~50m range (not recommended for prolonged hovering below 0.5m), providing exceptional convenience for drone hover flight and terrain-following operations.


Fixed altitude mode is the most important mode in drone flight control, and high-precision fixed altitude radar is the foundation for stable flight in fixed altitude mode. As is well known, fine-tuning the throttle to ensure the balance of lift and weight of the drone consumes a lot of energy for the pilot, while the fixed altitude mode of the drone achieved with the help of a fixed altitude radar can greatly reduce the difficulty of the pilot's operation.
