Instructions for Use

Throttle stroke calibration

After the first use of brushless ESC or replacement of remote control equipment, throttle stroke calibration is required.

Step 1: Wiring diagram for throttle stroke calibration.

                                                      Brushless electronic speed controller

                                  Motor                                                                                                                                                    Battery

                                                                                                                             Receiver

                                                               UBEC

Please remove the propeller when performing throttle calibration to avoid accidents!

Step 2: Operation method for throttle stroke calibration

1. Turn on the remote control and push the throttle lever to the highest point.

2. Connect the power supply of the receiver, ensure that the remote control and receiver communicate normally, and then turn on the power to adjust the power.

3. After the motor emits two short beeps of "wah wah wah", within 3 seconds, the throttle lever is pressed to the lowest point and the motor emits a prompt sound of "wah wah" - a long beep.

4. Throttle stroke calibration completed

Note: After the motor emits two short beeps of "wah wah wah", if it does not reach the lowest point, the motor will emit a rapid single tone of "beep wah", indicating that the calibration is unsuccessful. It is necessary to power on again to return to calibration!

Step 3: Operating method for setting angle parameters (only required for FLAME80A12SV2.0)

1. Turn on the remote control and push the throttle lever to the highest point.

2. Connect the power supply of the receiver, ensure that the remote control and receiver communicate normally, and then turn on the power to adjust the power.

3. The motor will beep in the following order.

4. Beep wah "throttle stroke calibration,

Beep beep "in the middle corner,

Wow beep beep "high angle,

After hearing the prompt sound corresponding to the setting item, press the accelerator to the lowest position within 3 seconds to complete the corresponding setting.

5. Complete the setup, the system is ready.

Normal startup process

1. Turn on the remote control and press the throttle lever to the lowest point.

2. Connect the system to the battery, and after 1 second, the motor will emit a beep to indicate that the system is ready for takeoff at any time.

Protection Function Description

This ESC is designed specifically for multi rotor aircraft.

Start protection: If the motor fails to start normally within two seconds after increasing the throttle, the power output will be turned off by the ESC, and the throttle lever must be placed at the lowest point again before restarting. (The reasons for this situation may include poor contact between the electric harmonic and motor connections or individual output lines being disconnected, or the propeller being obstructed by other objects.).

Throttle signal loss protection: When the electronic control detects that the throttle remote control signal is lost for more than 0.25 seconds, the output will be immediately turned off to avoid greater losses caused by the continued high-speed rotation of the propeller. After the signal is restored, the ESC immediately resumes the corresponding power output.

Lockup protection: When the electric control detects motor stalling, it will attempt to restart the motor 3 times. If the restart is unsuccessful, the electric control will completely shut down the output and no longer attempt to restart the motor. At this time, the throttle lever needs to be set to the lowest position and pushed again to clear the error and restart the electric control to restore power output.

Current protection: When the instantaneous abnormal current reaches 340A, the electric regulator immediately shuts off the output, and can restore normal operation after re powering on.

Solution

The motor cannot start after being powered on

The rapid single tone of 'beep beep beep...'

The throttle is not reset to zero or the travel setting is too small

Turn the throttle to the lowest point or recalibrate the throttle stroke

The motor cannot start after being powered on

The rapid single tone of 'wah, wah, wah,...' (with an interval of 1 second each)

Receiver throttle channel has no throttle signal output

Check if the transmitter and receiver are working properly. Check if the throttle control channel wiring is working properly

The motor cannot start after being powered on

Beep beep beep beep beep beep loop

Battery voltage below 18.6V

Replace the battery with a normal voltage

The motor cannot start after being powered on

Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep loop

Battery high voltage above 55V

Replace the battery with a normal voltage
