SOC calibration instructions: If the battery power display is inaccurate due to different cell characteristics, the SOC can be manually set to 0 (when the battery is depleted). Active Balancing Protection Board Connection Steps
Note: Do not insert the protection board when soldering the sampling lines. Please solder according to the actual number of battery cells in series. Extra sampling lines do not need to be soldered (please ensure extra sampling lines are properly insulated).
1. Soldering the sampling cable: Begin by connecting the thin black wire to the battery's B- (total negative terminal). Connect the second wire to the positive terminal of the first battery string, and then connect the next wire to the positive terminal of each subsequent string. Finally, solder the B+ wire to the last string (total positive terminal).
2. Checking the voltage: Use a multimeter or wiring sequence testing device to measure the voltage at each pinhole of the cable. If the voltage is not within the normal range, check for incorrect connections, cold solder joints, or missing solder joints.
3. Soldering the output wires: Secure the B- connecting wire (thick blue wire) and P- connecting wire (thick black wire) to the corresponding B- and P- nuts on the protection board using screws. A torque of 10 N·m is recommended. Solder the B- wire to the battery's total negative terminal.
Note: When soldering the B- wire, ensure the P- wire is properly insulated. Remove the insulation only when connecting to the output terminal.
4. Connect the protection board accessories: such as temperature controller, power supply board, GPS, display screen*, etc., then insert the sampling cable into the protection board for automatic activation.
