Installation
Simple steps to complete the installation.
Motor , etc. Sampling cable Load
Total positive terminal B+
Charger
Last string
Third string
Battery pack
Second string
First string
Total negative terminal B-
Wiring diagram shown for K series, other series are similar.
Step 1: Soldering the ribbon cables
Connect the first ribbon cable (black wire) to the total
negative terminal of the battery,Connect the second
ribbon cable (red wire) to the positive terminal of the
first string of batteries,Connect the third ribbon cable
(red wire) to the positive terminal of the second string
of batteries... and so on,
until all ribbon cables are connected;
Note: Do not insert the ribbon cables into the protection board during the soldering process.
Step 2: Check the ribbon cable.
After connecting the ribbon cable, measure the voltage between adjacent ribbon cables, starting from the connector, to confirm that the wiring sequence is correct and there are no issues such as incorrect or missing connections.
A test board or wiring sequencer
is more convenient if available.
Multimeter
Test Board Wiring Sequencer
Step 3: Connect the output wires.
Connect the B- wire of the protection
board to the battery's negative
terminal. Then connect the
temperature control wire and
sampling ribbon cable to the
protection board. The protection
board will automatically activate. After activation, confirm that the voltages before the board (battery voltages B+, B-) and after the board (P+, P-) are consistent.
Step 4: Connect the charger and load.
Connect the P- wire of the protection board to the charger and the motor's negative terminal. Connect the lithium battery's positive terminal to the charger and the load's positive terminal.
*Wiring tutorial uses the K-series 8-series as an example; other specifications are similar.
