Installation and Wiring
Smart Active Balancing Module Connection Method:
※ Special Note: The active balancing module must be matched with a BMS of the same number of cells; different series numbers cannot be mixed.
1. Solder the wiring harness. Start by connecting the thin black wire to the total negative B-. The second wire (first red wire) connects to the positive of the 1st cell, then connect to the positive of each subsequent cell in order until the last red wire connects to the total positive B+.
2. Measure voltage. After connecting the harness, do not plug the connector directly into the active balancing module. First measure the voltage between every two adjacent metal terminals on the back of the connector. Ensure the correct voltage for each cell is captured before proceeding to the next step. Note: For ternary lithium batteries, voltage should be between 3.0-4.15V; for LiFePO4 batteries, between 2.5-3.6V; for LTO batteries, between 1.8-2.8V.
3. Connect the sampling harness to the balancing module.
4. Connect the balancing module and DALY KMS software protection board via UART, then connect the BMS to a low-power Bluetooth module or upper computer for communication.
5. Set relevant parameters such as active balancing via the Bluetooth APP or PC Master upper computer.
