Product Description
The all-terrain pipeline inspection robot mainly consists of an amphibious robot body, front high-definition pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera, rear fixed high-definition camera, portable robot control cable reel and robot control terminal. It can inspect pipelines with a minimum diameter of DN500 mm.
· Max 420 W high-power output
· Dual-motor spiral propulsion system
· No wheel replacement or pre-treatment required
· Freely navigates complex environments with high water levels and thick silt
· Spiral rollers made of high-strength wear-resistant composite material
· Maximum travel speed: 26 m/min
· When travelling over soft muddy ground, the PI-S500 amphibious inspection robot with spiral propulsion achieves superior traversing performance compared with wheeled and tracked robots.
Adopting a spiral-propulsion structure, this all-terrain pipeline inspection robot is designed for inspection in complex environments such as pipelines, box culverts, swamps and silt. It delivers strong silt-traversing capability and can sail on water under high-water-level conditions, serving as a powerful complement to CCTV inspection and sonar inspection.
The PI-S500 system is composed of an amphibious robot body, front high-definition PTZ camera, rear fixed high-definition camera, portable robot control cable reel and robot control terminal. Its minimum applicable pipeline size is DN500 mm.
The PI-S500 features modular compartment-based design, lowering costs for later-stage hardware upgrades and after-sales maintenance.
The robot body is fitted with an inclination-angle sensor to monitor travel posture in real time and prevent roll-over.
It adopts a portable tablet-style control terminal, which connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi to the cable reel unit. Zero-latency, stutter-free video streaming is guaranteed, and the lightweight terminal allows flexible operation from any location.
Cable-reel Unit
· Standard cable length: 200-1000 m; maximum customisable length up to 2000 m
· Zero-buoyancy cable with excellent acid-alkali resistance, waterproof performance, anti-oxidation property and low-latency data transmission
· Centimetre-level high-precision length-measuring counter
· Manual-automatic dual-mode cable retraction-release; one-key cable winding/unwinding for convenient operation
· Axial 360° rotation; radial 270° rotation
· One-key 360° panoramic scan, one-key 90° pitch adjustment, one-key reset, one-key lens defogging
· One-key defect tracking & locking function for snapshot capture inside pipelines
· Real-time annotation of captured defect photos and videos
Equipped with an AI-powered pipe-network defect identification system, it accurately recognises 16 types of defects defined in national standards. It supports one-click generation of pipe-network inspection reports, cutting inspection-industry costs by up to 75 % and greatly improving operator efficiency.
Thanks to its modular compartment-based architecture, the robot supports diverse functional expansions. A sonar unit can be optionally fitted to enable multi-mode inspection combining above-water video and underwater sonar. Applicable scenarios include high-water-level pipelines, heavily-silted drainage pipelines, heavily-sedimented underground culverts, oil-sludge box culverts, swamp silt zones and river channels.
