Twelve Humanoid Robots Launched in Just 30 Days

In November, the humanoid robot sector saw an explosive acceleration, with over a dozen new models launched worldwide. These releases stood out for their diverse technical paths, design styles, and application goals.


Within just thirty days, more than a dozen humanoid robots developed by technology companies and research institutions from China, the United States, Russia, and other countries made their debut. Chinese companies were especially active, from startups like PL-Universe, Xpeng Motors, and ROBOTPHOENIX to major institutes such as the Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and CETC 21st Institute. International entries from Russia's Idol/Sberbank and U.S. firm Tangible Robots reinforced the global momentum behind humanoids.

Two main technical routes advanced in parallel:

  • Wheeled humanoids (e.g., PL-Universe ProWhite 2.0, Unitree G1-D) focused on high mobility and stability for industrial tasks.

  • Bipedal humanoids (e.g., Xpeng IRON, NAVIAI-I3) pursued bionic walking/running for complex environments and long-term home integration.

Application scenarios expanded rapidly, shifting robots from lab demos to practical tools across manufacturing, security, household services, and commercial use. A key trend is the deep integration of large AI models—such as Xpeng’s physical-world model, ROBOTPHOENIX’s YiBrain, and GigaAI’s GigaBrain-0—to boost perception, planning, and autonomy.

‖  PL-Universe Robotics

On November 1, PL-Universe Robotics released its industrial-grade wheeled embodied robot ProWhite Robot 2.0. The robot adopts a “humanoid body + modular end-effectors” design aimed at flexible manufacturing challenges.

Its core features include:

1. ±0.05 mm absolute positioning accuracy, enabling sub-millimeter precision;

2. High adaptability, with deep MES integration for fast changeover and a detachable base/body design supporting both processing and material flow tasks;

3. Modular quick-swap interfaces supporting four industrial end-effectors—screw-locking, soldering, dispensing, and oiling—covering nearly 40% of common manufacturing processes.

‖  Xpeng Motors

On November 5, Xpeng Motors released its next-generation humanoid robot IRON. Featuring a bionic “skeleton–muscle–skin” structure, IRON includes a bionic spine, artificial muscles, and fully covered soft skin. It also supports body-shape customization across genders and builds for a highly humanlike appearance. The robot’s hands feature 22 degrees of freedom for exceptional dexterity.

IRON is powered by three Xpeng-designed Turing AI chips delivering 2250 TOPS of compute. Its physical-world large model integrates VLT, VLA, and VLM, enabling advanced conversation, autonomous walking, and complex interactive skills. Mass production is planned for late 2026, with priority deployment in commercial scenarios.

‖  Idol (Russia)

On November 10, Russian robotics company Idol released its first domestically developed humanoid robot Aidol—which drew attention when it fell during the live demo. Aidol moves at 6 km/h, can lift up to 10 kg, and features 19 facial servo motors, capable of expressing smiles, thinking, surprise, and hundreds of micro-expressions.

It also supports offline operation, with all speech and emotion-recognition processed locally without reliance on cloud services. Aidol runs on a 48V battery with 6 hours of operation, and currently achieves 77% domestic component localization, targeted to rise to 93%.

‖  Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center

On November 12, the Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center unveiled the security-patrol humanoid robot NAVIAI-I3, standing 1.8 m tall and weighing 80 kg. It offers enhanced leg performance with a running speed of up to 9 km/h, and can bend, squat, and traverse uneven surfaces such as gravel or slopes.

Targeted at security and inspection scenarios, NAVIAI-I3 is already attracting customer inquiries and moving toward mass production.

On November 13, Unitree launched its first wheeled humanoid robot G1-D, featuring a telescoping structure with adjustable height from 1260 mm to 1680 mm. The robot has 19 degrees of freedom, with 7-DOF arms and a 2-DOF waist. It includes dual HD cameras in the head and an optional wrist camera and mobile base.

On November 17, RobotPhoenix released its first humanoid robot Hongjun, marking its entry into embodied intelligence. The robot uses a “bionic dual-arm + lift column + wheeled base” design and integrates the self-developed YiBrain multimodal foundation model, which translates high-level task sequences into joint-level commands and torque signals.

Its modular omnidirectional 4-wheel base reaches 2 m/s, with 360° turning. Each arm supports 5 kg peak load, with ±0.05 mm repeatability. A spherical wrist joint enables 360° rotation, allowing precise insertion, tightening, pressing, and other fine operations.

On November 18, U.S. robotics company Tangible Robots introduced Eggie, a household-oriented humanoid robot using a wheeled platform and a bionic five-finger hand. Its lightweight and modular design aims for manufacturability and system scalability.

Demo videos showcased practical home abilities—cleaning spilled drinks, removing lint from clothing, etc.—thanks to advanced tactile feedback and compliant control developed entirely in-house.

On November 19, Agile Robots launched its full-size industrial humanoid robot Agile One, standing 174 cm tall and weighing 69 kg. Its dexterous hand, described as an industry benchmark, features torque sensors in every finger joint and tactile sensors at the fingertips—capable of handling tiny screws and operating power tools with equal precision.

The robot adopts a layered AI architecture with “slow thinking” for planning, “fast thinking” for dynamic response, and a reflex-like high-frequency adjustment layer, mimicking human decision processes. Its “directional ring-light eye” system and chest display provide intuitive feedback to human operators.

On November 19, Sunday Robotics debuted its first home-service robot Memo. With a wheeled base and telescoping torso, it demonstrated smooth execution of tasks such as making espresso, clearing dishes into the dishwasher, and holding two glasses in one hand.

Its core innovation is a $400 skill-capture glove, which converts human household motions into training samples. Nearly 10 million real-world operation datapoints have been collected to train its proprietary embodied model ACT-1, enabling zero-shot generalization. Memo is in testing and expected to serve the first 50 households by late 2026.

On November 19, Russia’s largest bank Sberbank showcased its humanoid robot Green, powered by the GigaChat large model. Green understands natural-language commands, engages in dialogue, perceives its environment, manipulates objects, and autonomously identifies and corrects task errors. On November 25, the 21st Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) and CETC Robotics jointly unveiled the humanoid robot Explorer D1. Standing 170 cm tall and weighing about 70 kg, Explorer D1 uses a model-based control route grounded in physical modeling, enabling superior motion capability and a top speed of 10 km/h.

Its hands feature 0.1 N-sensitivity pressure sensors, enabling complex manipulation tasks. The robot also supports autonomous charging, obstacle avoidance, and self-recovery after falling. It is positioned for logistics, manufacturing, and special-operations applications.

On November 26, GigaAI released the wheeled humanoid robot Maker H01, standing 162 cm tall with 28 degrees of freedom (excluding dexterous hands). Each arm provides 3 kg rated load and 5 kg max load.

Maker H01 integrates a rich sensor suite including RGB-D cameras on the head, chest, and hands, plus a lidar and ultrasonic sensors on the base. It runs the self-developed embodied foundation model GigaBrain-0, which leverages depth perception and structured reasoning to improve 3D spatial understanding and long-sequence task planning. Applications include home, industrial, service, and research environments.
