On January 21st, Shanghai Zhangjiang Robotics Valley witnessed a milestone event – the official launch of the world's first automated production line for robot joints by a Chinese technology company. This marks a crucial leap for China's android industry from technological research and development to large-scale manufacturing, signifying a breakthrough in the mass production bottleneck of core humanoid robot components and accelerating the large-scale application of humanoid robots.

As the core of a robot's power system and motion control, the precision and stability of the integrated joint directly determine the robot's performance, and its cost accounts for nearly half of a humanoid robot's price. The Chinese technology company has been deeply involved in the research and development of integrated humanoid robot joint modules, aiming to become a "Tier 1" supplier in the industry. Focusing on achieving large-scale mass production of joints, it achieved an industry-leading delivery of 95,000 joint modules by 2025. This newly launched automated production line is a core part of the Chinese technology company's strategy to "lead the mass production of joints," continuously driving industry upgrades and development through technological advancements.

This world's first automated production line is systematically designed around the entire manufacturing process of joint modules, covering core aspects such as assembly, testing, calibration, and quality inspection. It reshapes industry standards with three core advantages: through the deep integration of automation and standardization, it completely solves the problem of consistency in joint products, meeting the stringent requirements of humanoid robots for high precision and high stability; with mass production and delivery as the core goal, it significantly improves production efficiency and large-scale supply capacity, providing long-term stable support for downstream companies to promote the mass production of complete machines; and through continuously optimized engineering solutions, it achieves a first-pass yield rate of over 95% while ensuring high performance indicators, significantly optimizing manufacturing costs and building a product system that combines technological advantages and market competitiveness.
