Installation Guide
Simple Installation in a Few Steps
1.Soldering the Sampling Cable: Start by connecting the thin black wire to the battery B- (total negative terminal). Connect the second wire to the positive terminal of the first cell string, and then connect the next wire to the positive terminal of each subsequent cell string. Finally, solder the B+ wire to the last cell string (total positive terminal).
Note: Do not insert the protection board while soldering the sampling wire. Please solder according to the actual number of cell strings. Extra sampling wires do not need to be soldered (please insulate any extra sampling wires).
2.Voltage Test: Use a multimeter or wiring sequence tester to measure the voltage of each pin of the ribbon cable to ensure it is within the normal range. If abnormal, check for incorrect connections, cold solder joints, false solder joints, or missing solder joints.
3.Connect Output Cables: Secure the B- connector (thick blue wire) and P- connector (thick black wire) to the corresponding B- and P- nuts on the protection board using screws. A torque of 10 N·m is recommended. Solder the B- wire to the battery's negative terminal.
Note: Ensure proper insulation of the P- wire when soldering the B- wire; disconnect it only when connecting to the output terminal.
4.Connect Temperature Control Wire and Ribbon Cable: Connect the temperature control wire, then insert the sampling ribbon cable into the protection board. The protection board will automatically activate.
