Installation and Wiring
Easy 3 Steps
Step 1: Soldering Ribbon Cables:
Connect the first ribbon cable (black wire) to the main negative terminal of the battery, the second ribbon cable (red wire) to the positive terminal of the first battery string, the third ribbon cable (red wire) to the positive terminal of the second battery string, and so on, until all ribbon cables are connected.
Step 2: Testing Ribbon Cables:
After connecting the ribbon cables, measure the voltage between adjacent ribbon cables, starting from the connector, to confirm that the wiring sequence is correct and there are no missing connections.
Step 3: Connecting Output Cables:
Connect the B- wire of the protection board to the main negative terminal of the battery, and then connect the sampling ribbon cable connector to the protection board. After activating the protection board, confirm that the voltage before the board (battery voltage B+, B-) and the voltage after the board (P+, P-) are consistent.
Activating the Protection Board
The protection board automatically activates upon first use. If the protection board is in sleep mode, it can be activated in four ways:
(Before activating the protection board, please ensure that the protection board, ribbon cable, and battery are correctly connected, and that the NTC is connected to the protection board.)
1. Activate via key switch.
2. Activate via button.
3. Activate via communication (485/CAN/Bluetooth communication with the APP).
4. Activate via charge/discharge.
