PWM signal control
——— —
PWM stands for Pulse width modulation in English. Also known as duty cycle signal, it represents the proportion of high level duration to the entire signal cycle The entire cycle of PWM is 2ms, with 1.5ms stopping, 1.5-2ms confirming, and 1.5-1ms reversing.
| From the above figure, we can clearly see that when the PWM is 75% (L.5ms), the motor stops rotating, when the PWM is 50% (1ms), the motor rotates in the opposite direction, and when the PWM is 100% (2ms), the motor rotates in the forward direction. Of course, electronic tuning not only causes the motor to rotate in the forward and reverse directions, but can also adjust the speed of motor rotation through the duty cycle of PWM. When the PWM gradually changes from 75% to 50%, the motor will continue to accelerate in the reverse direction from stopping until the maximum reverse rotation is reached. When the PWM gradually changes from 75% to 100%, the motor continues to accelerate in the forward direction from stopping until the maximum forward rotation is reached. That is to say, PWM is a signal that can be continuously changed, with an effective range of 50% to 100%
The frequency of PWM signals is generally 50Hz, 100Hz, 200Hz, or 500Hz, etc. The higher the control frequency, the shorter the cycle, the shorter the control interval, and the faster the response speed of the harmonic generator and motor. Conversely, the lower the control frequency, the longer the cycle, the longer the control interval, and the slower the response speed of the harmonic generator and motor. |
