Homemade Brushless Motor with a Reed Switch – What’s It For? 🤔
I built a brushless motor from scratch using acrylic, neodymium magnets, and enameled copper wire – but here's the twist: I added a reed switch. The motor runs perfectly with or without it, so I'm genuinely puzzled about its purpose. Watch the full build: cutting and assembling the rotor, winding the coils, and testing the final result. What do you think – is the reed switch there for a reason, or just for show? Let me know in the comments!
