Lesson2:Servo Motion Control 101 – Hardware Setup for Single‑Axis Control ⚡
This is the second session of our hands‑on servo motion control course. In this video, we get into the real‑world wiring of the entire single‑axis servo system – step by step. You’ll see exactly how to connect the PLC, servo drive, and servo motor, including EtherCAT communication, encoder feedback, brake control via relay, and power terminals (L1/L2 for AC input, UVW for motor output, and external braking resistor terminals). We also cover the two dedicated cables (encoder and power/brake) and explain why the servo motor brake needs its own relay control. Clear, practical, and hardware‑focused – perfect for anyone building or troubleshooting servo systems.
