Common debugging issues and solutions
Alarm code | Alarm name | Alarm content and handling method | Alarm clear |
E-- | No alarm | Normal operation | - |
E1 | Overspeed | The motor speed exceeds the limit; check the Pr075 setting. | Yes |
E2 | Power main circuit overvoltage | Check the braking resistor for damage. | No |
E3 | Power main circuit undervoltage | The main circuit power supply voltage is lower than the specified value. | Yes |
E4 | Position error (following error is too large) | The position deviation counter value exceeds the number of revolutions set in parameter Pr080 (unit: 0.01 revolution). | Yes |
E5 | Position command frequency is too high | The host computer sent an error command or the resolution setting is incorrect. | Yes |
E6 | Motor stall | The motor power line is incorrectly connected or has poor contact, the motor code is incorrectly set, or the load is too heavy. | Yes |
E11 | IPM module fault | The main power circuit IPM inverter module is faulty. | No |
E12 | Overcurrent | The servo drive instantaneous current is too high. | Yes |
E13 | Overload | The average motor load current is too high. | Yes |
E14 | Braking peak power overload | The short-term instantaneous load during braking is too high. | Yes |
E17 | Err17/Err19 | The host computer controller has an illegal position command. | Yes |
E20 | EEPROM error | Error during EEPROM read/write; power is off during parameter saving. | No |
E21 | Logic chip error | Processor peripheral logic circuit failure. | No |
E23 | AD conversion reference voltage error | The AD sampling circuit voltage reference is not the standard value. | No |
E24 | AD conversion channel asymmetry or large zero drift | The AD sampling amplifier and conditioning circuit is abnormal. | No |
E25 | Motor code error | The internal motor code of the driver is incorrectly adapted. | No |
E29 | User torque overload alarm | The motor load exceeds the user-set value Pr070 and duration. Pr072 | Yes |
E35 | Absolute encoder multi-turn count error | Check if the encoder battery polarity is reversed. Restart the drive and reset the mechanical zero point. | No |
E38 | Absolute encoder zero point error | The motor has not undergone encoder zero calibration. | No |
E39 | Absolute encoder communication disconnection | The encoder cable is loose or disconnected, there is electromagnetic interference, the encoder is damaged, or the encoder baud rate is too far off. | No |
E40 | Absolute encoder battery failure | If this alarm occurs when the drive is first used or the motor encoder connector has been removed, it is normal. Follow the instructions in Section 5.2 to clear the alarm and reset the mechanical zero point. If it occurs after a period of use, it indicates a battery disconnection or low voltage. Replace the battery and reset the mechanical zero point. | No |
E41 | Absolute encoder count error | The encoder cable is loose or disconnected, there is electromagnetic interference. Check the connections and restart the drive. | No |
E42 | Motor matching error | For non-standard motors, the encoder zero point is incorrect. Use the drive to write motor parameters and perform zero calibration. | No |
E43 | Absolute encoder reset error | Single-turn position has been illegally cleared. | No |

Communication port CN3/CN4 connection diagram
The RS485 communication ports CN3 and CN4 on the driver enable communication with host computers such as CNCs, PCs, and PLCs, as well as the driver. The pinouts for CN3 and CN4 are as follows.
Pin number | CN3 | Name | CN4 | Name | Graphic |
1 | - | - | - | - |
|
2 | - | - | - | - | |
3 | - | - | - | - | |
4 | 485_B | RS485 Communication interface | 485_B | RS485 Communication interface
5 | 485_A | RS485 Communication interface | 485_A | RS485 Communication interface
6 | - | - | - | - | |
7 | 485_ground | 485 signal ground | 485_ground | 485 signal ground
8 | - | - | - | - |
Special Note: The RS485 communication port can also be connected via ports 40/41/42 on CN1.
Note:
Connection to a PC or host controller can be done using a dedicated serial cable. Do not plug or unplug the cable while it is powered on.
It is recommended to use twisted-pair or shielded cable with a length of less than 2 meters.
When connecting multiple devices in series, connect CN3 to CN4 on the previous drive, and CN4 to CN3 on the next drive.
When using RS485 bus communication, if the RS485 signal ground of the host computer is connected to earth ground (PE),
ensure that the host computer PE terminal is connected to the driver terminal through proper grounding.
In this case, do not connect the host computer RS485 signal ground to the drive RS485 signal ground (GND).
Doing so may damage the driver.
